I Love this Picture So Much.........I Could Just Marry It

Oh friends I found the most wonderful picture online while I was surfing the web early this morning....It is just so gorgeous, it reminds me of a picture that Thomas Kinkade had painted. If you have never seen a painting or read one of the novels by Thomas Kinkade you are really missing a treat. They call him the painter of Light for a reason.... laugh.gif ...But this picture really reminded me of his work.....I hope you guys enjoy this picture as much as I did.. and NO you are not seeing things the water really is moving.....Have a wonderful and blessed day.

Well hello blogging friends I know I have been away for a couple of days, but I have had alot going on in my life here lately and I must say everything has been wonderful here, except for a few minor sickies (AGAIN)....but anywhoo today I decided to make another video of a day in my kitchen since so many of my blogging followers were sending me emails wondering when I was going to make another video. Well today's dinner I am going to be making a hamburger and rice casserole and I decided to video so that if anyone whats the recipe they can copy it down. So I hope you enjoy my video and I will see everyone in blog land soon.

Here is the recipe:

If you wold like to join in with this wonderful day book happenings ...please feel free to visit Peggy at her blog, she is a wonderful hostess and would love for you guys to visit..

FOR TODAY... October 26, 2009

Outside my window...I am watching the leaves fall from the the tree in my front yard. It's going to be a cool day out with the weatherman saying it is going to be in the low 60s and that is cool to me....

I am thinking... about the goodness and mercy of God and all that he has done and will do for me and my family, because in this house wee will give God all the praises.

I am thankful for.....
everything that God has bless my family and I with, food on our table, roof over our head, clothes on our backs, economy is really getting rough and I thank God for his mercy.......................

I am wearing...a jean skirt with a blue blouse and some socks and bedroom shoes

I am remembering...... what a great and fun weekend we just had. My family and I rested on Saturday and then Saturday afternoon we went to McDonald and brought the children a hot Coco and then my hubby and I went to Starbucks and brought us large Pumpkin Spice Lattes and just sat outside and enjoyed the weather.

I am creating...a new home school schedule for next week, and I am still working on some new projects for some of my beloved friends for Christmas.

I am going...to church three nights this week because we are having a program for our minister of music it's his anniversary at our church and we love and appreciated all that he does for us.

I am reading...my Bible and Becoming the Woman Who Please God....by Pat Ennis... We are reading it as a group over at Sugar Pie Farmhouse....I am also reading A Christmas Star by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer. I am reading a little bit at a time.

I am hoping...and praying that everyone reading my blog including my self have a blessed week.

On my mind...all the things that I really need to do to get the house ready for the Fall and Winter months. Also how good God is, how he wake me up this morning and let me clothes myself in my right mind and that he covered me, my family, and friends under his blood while we slept through the night.

From the learning rooms...home schooling the children

Noticing that...I really need to get my closet cleaned out and take out some of the summer things and put in my longer sleeve blouses and sweaters. Still have not done this yet and I really need too... LOL

Pondering these words.. Proverbs 13:20 NIV
He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harms.

From the kitchen...we are having scrambled cheese eggs with toast for breakfast, today's lunch is peanut butter and jelly with carrots slices, and dinner will be a meatloaf with mashed taters and gravy, and green beans.

Around the house...doing some cleaning and laundry, homeschooling, and just spending some time with the family and getting that closet cleaned out.

One of my favorite things: is reading a good book snuggled up in a warm and cozy blanket with a warm pair of socks on my feet while it is cold and wet outside.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Cleaning, home schooling, cooking, and a few other miscellaneous things

From my picture journal... This is a small cherry pie jar that looks like a pie that I found at the goodwill and I love it...

FOR TODAY... October 19, 2009

Outside my window...it is about 50 degrees outside and the sun is completely up. The weatherman said that it is going to be a nice day out but a little on the cool side. Another beautiful day that the Lord has made.

I am thinking... about what a great time my family and I had at the State Fair this weekend. I am also thinking about the upcoming holidays and who will be at my house for Thanksgiving and what I will be cooking. You know it takes a while to plan for a gathering at my house because between my hubby and I we have alot of out of town family that will be staying with us.

I am thankful for.....
everything that God has bless my family and I with, food on our table, roof over our head, clothes on our backs, economy is really getting rough and I thank God for his mercy.......................

I am wearing...a jean skirt with a white cotton blouse and some socks and tennis shoes, lol my foot or cold this morning.

I am remembering...... what a wonderful time my family and I had at the State Fair this weekend and what a wonderful service we had at church yesterday, our pastor really preached yesterday he spoke on God being our refuge and our strong tower and if we have him on our side then we will always come out victorious.

I am creating...a new home school schedule for next week, and I am still working on some new projects for some of my beloved friends for Christmas.

I am going...to make out my list this morning for our Mega shopping Wednesday so that we can get some much needed things here in the house. A have an appointment with the doctor on Tuesday so that I can get my annual physical, ladies it is very important to get a physical along with a pap smear ever year, I know that God is the one that heals our bodies, but he give all of us common sense and early detection of anything wrong leads to a better survive rate.

I am reading...my Bible and Becoming the Woman Who Please God....by Pat Ennis... We are reading it as a group over at Sugar Pie Farmhouse....I am also reading A Christmas to Remember by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer. I am reading a little bit at a time.

I am hoping...and praying that everyone reading my blog including my self have a blessed week.

On my mind...all the things that I really need to do to get the house ready for the Fall and Winter months. Noticing that...I really need to get my closet cleaned out and take out some of the summer things and put in my longer sleeve blouses and sweaters.

Pondering these words.. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. Psalms 61:3

From the kitchen...cheese grits with banana slices on the side. For lunch it is going to be peanut butter and jelly with apple slices, and for dinner it is going to be fried chicken with homemade mac and cheese with sweet peas and homemade yeast rolls.

Around the house...doing some cleaning and laundry, homeschooling, and just spending some time with the family.

One of my favorite things: is reading a good book snuggled up in a warm and cozy blanket with a warm pair of socks on my feet while it is cold and wet outside, I got the chance to do alot of that last week because it was cold and wet outside last week.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Cleaning, home schooling, cooking, and a few other miscellaneous things

From my picture journal... This is my new shelf that I got from the Goodwill last week so I hang it under my Pumpkin Pie rolling pin that I brought from Micheal's a couple of weeks ago. The little jar on the shelf was another little 50 cent find at the Goodwill. I may add some greenery to this soon.

Have a great and blessed week to all of my friends and family that read my blog.

Enjoying a Cozy Day of Reading.....And Today's Happenings

Hello Friends I am sorry that this is such a long post, there is so much to talk about today. I thought that I would do another video post since it has been awhile since I did one, this one is about a book series that I learn about over at a website that I have been visiting over a year now...Its call Sugar Pie Farmhouse and is hosted by a wonder woman of God called Aunt Ruthie, this a wonderful place to met wonderful women who care about keeping the home, taking care of the family, you name it we talk about it here on this site...So if you get a chance stop by and visit with us. Anyhoo ladies this book series is writing by two wonderful people. Thomas Kinkade is a painter of some of the most beautifulest pictures I have ever seen and he is a man of much faith in the Lord God and it comes out in all of his paintings, people call him the printer of light. Katherine Spencer is a wonderful author she also has out a new book that I know is going to be great also, she is a writer that inspires and encourages others. The Cape Light Series has some wonderful wonderful books and I am going to try to read every last one that we have here in our home town public library. These books just make you want to visit Cape Light and all of the residents there and share in their joy and laughter, pain and sorrow. So if You get time stop on by your public library and read one of these great books, especially when it is cold outside and you and the family can cuddle up and OH what a wonderful time.
