The Painter Of Light Thomas Kinkade Has Passed Away

Oh dear blogging friends I am so sad this morning . I was checking my email this morning and saw that Thomas Kinkade passed away Friday of natural causes. For those that do not know of him he is the painter of light because in every single one of his paintings he always put light in the windows which to him represented God's warmth and love. When he did this to his paintings it seem to have made them come to life. He also wrote the wonderful Cape light Series along with Katherine Spencer. I really loved Thomas Kinkade and he truly loved the Lord because he give him praise in every painting and book he ever wrote and in an interview he give God all of the praise. Here is a link about his death..... Thomas Kinkade Has Died Lets say a prayer for his family especially his wife and four daughters....Here is a link to my blog where I talked about Thomas Kinkade and his paintings and books in a blog post I read back in October 2009. My Post on Thomas Kinkade Back in 2009

DeNiece, sorry I haven't commented sooner but I have been at the hospital since the first of April with my mom. When I heard of this on the news my first thought was of you my dear good friend. I am keeping you in my prayers too. Blessings,Joann

Hey DeNiece, thanks for thinking of me! The baby and I are doing ok, I did have some pain with light spotting tonight but praying all is well! I did an update a while ago on my blog on my other symptoms that are going normal I suppose for a pregnancy.

Hope you are well! :)

DeNiece,

I liked this post paying respect to this great passed artist. I loved Thomas Kinkade's work so much. Almost every painted scene made me feel like I was at home. That is true talent. It shows where his heart was too. It was so nice to have an artist that was popular for more than just scribbling some paint lines like modern art painters do. I remember giving my dad a Thomas Kinkade calendar back in 1996 for Christmas. Brings back memories.
