Simply Woman Monday,

If you would like to join in on the fun of simple woman join Peggy at her blog at http://thesimplewoman.blogspot.com/

FOR TODAY (October 13, 2008)...

Outside My Window... the leaves are starting to fall from the tree in the front of my house. I am looking out of the kitchen window while I am drinking my morning coffee.

I am thinking... about the Goodness of god and how good he has been to my family and friends.

I am thankful for... God sending his son Jesus to die for all my and your sins. I am thankful for my family and all of my blogging friends.

From the kitchen... I will be baking two loaves of bread and some more blueberry and lemon poppy seed muffins to but in the freezer for later, today's dinner will me chicken and rice casserole and a sweet potato pie.

I am wearing...blue jean colored skirt with a light blue blouse, and I have own my white apron that says Kiss the cook, I love this apron because I love to get all the kisses and hugs when I wear this apron.

I am creating... my home school lesson for next week, I like to do this an advance so that I can take my time and plan for the next week.

I am going... to go grocery shopping this week for some much needed items, and get everything ready for Saturday's yard sale.

I am reading... Bible Promise for you along with Joyce Meyers Morning Devotionals, which everyone that knows me knows I do my devotionals in the wee hours of the morning at about 5:30, so I can have my personal time with God before everyone else gets up.

I am hoping... that all my brothers and sisters in Christ, even the sinner man has a blessed week and the lord keeps and takes care of everyone, and that someone out there comes to Christ for the salvation of their soul.

I am hearing... my christian CD playing in the background as I am typing this post.

Around the house... are all the children trying to help me get breakfast dishes finished. So that we can get ready for our home school lessons and since it is warm here today we will be having a nature walk.

One of my favorite things... is spending time with the Lord in the wee hours of the morning, talking and listening to his holy word. The time of the year that Fall is beginning to come, I love all of the pumpkins and squash, the town fair etc, everything is so exciting.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: I have to finish getting everything ready for our annual fall yard sale on Saturday, I want to also start storing some of the summer clothes and getting out the winter clothes, also getting out the quilts from storage and wash them to put on the beds.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

This is a picture of the baker's rack that I purchased at a yard sale this pass Saturday, I got it for a deal at $2.50. Thank you Lord I have been looking for one that we could fit in our budget. God is a good God.Yes he is.

Have a blessed weekend!

Homemaking for Christ

Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.
