A Tuesday in My Kitchen Video..

Well hello blogging friends I know I have been away for a couple of days, but I have had alot going on in my life here lately and I must say everything has been wonderful here, except for a few minor sickies (AGAIN)....but anywhoo today I decided to make another video of a day in my kitchen since so many of my blogging followers were sending me emails wondering when I was going to make another video. Well today's dinner I am going to be making a hamburger and rice casserole and I decided to video so that if anyone whats the recipe they can copy it down. So I hope you enjoy my video and I will see everyone in blog land soon.

Here is the recipe:

HAMBURGER RICE CASSEROLE

1 lb. lean hamburger meat
1 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. finely chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery

Brown hamburger meat and drain. Saute onions, bell pepper, and celery; drain. Mix all ingredients together and pout into casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly at 350 degrees.

Oh Ms. DeNiece
You have once again welcomed us into your heart and home!! I love to watch you create beauty and abundance for your family-it inspires me to do the same. Your faith and Christian spirit are reminders that everyone should be kinder and more welcoming towards strangers.
Thank you for being a sweet example to us all!

LOVED the video! I watched it twice while I was working in the kitchen (I can see my computer monitor in the kitchen, so it's my kitchen "TV", LOL). You kept me company while I baked two loaves of bread and cleaned up the kitchen and living room. Everyone else is asleep, but I have extra work to do before hitting the sack.

Glad to see you back in blogland. Keep the videos coming. They really do bless a lot of us.

Love ya, sister. :-)

I loved this video DeNiece.

I looked at how long it was and thought.. how the heck is she going to keep a 20 min video interesting???

Well you just started chatting away and I felt like I was right there beside you.
You are such a kind, sweet soul. I just think you are awesome! :)

Thanks for this, DeNiece! I love they way you talk through your videos--it's just like we're hanging out at your house!
I'm sorry about the nasty comments you've been getting. I was getting them too; I think it turned me off to blogging so I don't do it as much.
I loved the video. Question--do you think sprinkling some shredded cheese on top before putting it in the oven would taste bad? I may do that when I try the recipe.

It is a delight to watch your videos. You will not be able to please all, but you are an encouragement to many!

Ooooh, DeNeice, I could just HUG you! You are one of the most 'real' bloggers I can think of. Try not to let it bother you, as there will always be SOMEONE...but, really, if you look at these comments, you should see that they are definatly the minority!

I found your blog a few months ago, and I love it. The only 'negative' thing I could say is that you don't post enough! ;-)

I've never felt you were being fake. There is another blogger--and I love her dearly--but sometimes, it seems she's trying too hard to make sure everyone knows she loves her husband, etc and it almost seems...fake. I'm sure she does, but she overdoes it on the delivery, I guess you'd say. But I've never felt that way about you, you're just the type of person that you can FEEL the love, know what I mean? I've never once doubted that you were 'for real'.

Enough about that--
Loved the video. I always love your videos. I also find it so interesting how every woman has her own 'way' of doing something, and it works for them, even though for others it wouldn't. KWIM? I LOVE to watch women in the kitchen, what knives they use, the chopping methods, clean up methods, cooking methods--all different, yet it somehow always works. OK, maybe I'm weird. LOL.

I think I have the same pan set that you cooked your rice in, the Tfal. Is that the ones that the handle is removable?

Anyway, have a wonderful day. Sorry for the long comment. I'm gonna go watch Candy's video now!

Hi DeNiece,
I just loved your kitchen video today! They are truly my favorite part of you blog. I have yet to master the art of making videos, but I'll be sure to let you know when I've got one up and running. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving season. And remember...

Excellent video!
I'm sorry you had negative comments ~ you know, about two weeks ago I went through my "favorites" in my address book and deleted all of the blogs I used to visit that seemed like they knew it all, or were trying to be very perfect all the time. I just don't have time for that nonsense.
I LOVE visiting your blog because you are REAL and you SHINE the love of Jesus. Keep blogging, and keep sharing all the wonderful wisdom and real life path that you are walking. I am blessed to read your blog.
Breath of fresh air!
His best to all of you,
Heatherj

Hi DeNiece! Thanks for doing another video. I agree with PP that you should do one a week! Smile Sorry that you got some negative comments. Most all of us do at one time or another. That turned me off from blogging for awhile too. I always wondered why people feel the need to say something negative on someone's blog? If they don't like something, here's a tip: LEAVE. LOL
Thanks for your testimony to Jesus too. Blessings, Kelly

I found your blog a few months ago and you have become one of my favorite places to visit on the web. You are such a blessing to so many people you don't even know. Please don't let anyone discourage you from this "ministry" you have established here. You are a wonderful example to all of us. God Bless you!

Just found your blog this morning and I love it. I have 7 kids, so when I saw the name of your blog on another person's blogroll, I went straight to your, lol.

Anyhow I love the recipe. I'm going to try it tonight. I was wondering if you doubled or tripled your recipe for your family? It seemed like there was a lot more rice than just 1 cup...and since I have a big family, I was wondering what your quantity's were for your family.

I'm so sorry people have had negative things to say about you. I've only just net-met you but you seem so down to earth...just my kind of person!

Those who criticize may have many issues not related to you at all, not that makes you feel any better when they are directing their venom towards you. But perhaps it will make it easier to pray for your "enemies" (so to speak).

I figured out your quantities:) I have 7 children running around (I homeschool so they are home with me)and I didn't hear you say at the beginning that you had 2lbs of ground beef cooking.

Thanks! Have a blessed day:)
