FOR TODAY... December 7, 2009
Outside my window... It is a cold day out, I can tell by the frost on the windows....It's suppose to be in the low 50s today here....
I am thinking...about all of the things I have to do this week...
I am thankful for... all of my friends and family and my Sugar pie Farmhouse Sisters...You gals are the best...
I am wearing... a thick denim skirt with a white blouse with a Christmas tree on the front, and cozy bedroom slippers on my feet, with my hair in a ponytail...
I am remembering... how much fun we had for Cedric's birthday celebration this weekend, we really enjoy the movie " The Christmas Carol" in 3-D and our meal at Logan's Steakhouse...
I am going... to my eldest daughter choir performance tomorrow and then both girls dance performance is Saturday night...I will take plenty of pictures of both girls performances so everyone can see
I am currently reading... my Bible, I am currently reading in Matthew and I am trying to keep up with my sugar pie sisters group and finish reading the book we are all currently reading.
I am hoping... for a snowy Christmas : )
On my mind... the new baby that, the Lord's willing will be joining us in June, so he or she will be with us this time next year to celebrate Christmas with the family
Noticing that... my children are growing so much with each passing day.
Pondering these words... "Jesus says: 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened. And I will give you rest for your souls'" (Matthew 11:28)
From the kitchen... Breakfast: hot french toast and maple syrup, Lunch: tuna salad and chips, and for Dinner: Baked chicken and green beans with cheesy potatoes and a pound cake for dessert.
Around the house... just finishing up some Christmas decorations outside, and some of the daily things that need to be done.
One of my favorite things... is with all of this cold weather and rain, cuddling with my family and watching Christmas movies (It's a Wonderful Life lol) and drinking hot cocoa.
From my picture journal...

Doesn't this picture just make you want to walk down the street and glaze at the Christmas lights and go shopping in the vintage shop for Christmas, this small town reminds me of the small town off of the Coast of Maine called Cape Light it's a little fitious town in the books my Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer. This picture is also painted by Thomas Kinkade and for everyone that knows me knows I love everything writing and painted by Thomas Kinade...Have a great week everyone.

Hi DeNiece!
I love your blog!! Found you thru Candy's Keeping the Home site. Anyway, I would just love to hear how you make cheesy potatoes...or see a video...even better :)! I know you love to use your slow cooker. I think you would LOVE the following blog if you haven't found it already: crockpot365.blogspot.com. This stay at home mom used her crockpot everyday for a year (!) and blogged about it will all her recipes and also told results ( if her family liked it or not) it is wonderful and I use it as a resource all the time.
Have a blessed day in the Lord!

DeNiece congratulations on the pregnancy! How exciting! You're a blessed woman of God :)
DeNiece~ Can I please come to your house to eat with you all today??? We woke up to snow here, not real snow that sticks but there were snowflakes and for the central valley of California it is very unusual. We are supposed to get down to the 20's tonight, brrrr guess I will have to get bundled up! Have a wonderful week my dear sister :)
blessings,Joann
I enjoyed reading your daybook. I love watching the Christmas movies too. I've seen Christmas with the Cranks, Deck the Halls, and Mrs Miracle so far. I love to watch the Hallmark Channel this time of year.
