Bedtime Rountines Are Also Memories Being Maded....

We are never given dreams without also being given the power to make them come true. Richard Bach

Oh it's this just a lovely saying, God gives us wonderful dreams that he also helps and shows us how to make them come true. This is why it is so important to share in the wonderful experience of bedtime for your children. No I am no expert in this matter but what I do know and remember myself growing up to have my mother tucking me in every night. (Yes I do understand that some parents have to work at night and may not be able to do this but if at all possible try as often as possible)

We start out by having dinner together as a family

Well then after everyone gets their tummies full and we have had dessert the girls and I wash the dishes
Don't you just love this picture (vintage sink)

Then we all sit for awhile and we may watch a movie or the children color or play UNO while my hubby reads the paper and I rock dearest little Kenzie. Usually we have Bible study with the children

Then it is bath time

 Then the children brush their teeth

Then to hear my oldest tell it she still likes a bed time story too  so sometimes I read or sometimes dad reads

Prayer time

 and then it time for a kiss and a hug and some water because my children say they are always thirsty right before bed lol. But anywho parents this is memories that we are making in our children lives.  I feel that as night fall comes are children love seeing our faces at night right before bed..So every time you get the chance spend these precious moments with the children because they grow up so fast and then you will not get that chance. Cherish this time as a family every chance that you get. Have a blessed rest of the week

Father, We Thank Thee

Father, we thank thee for the night,
And for the pleasant morning light;
For rest and food and loving care,
And all that makes the day so fair. Help us to do the things we should,
To be to others kind and good;
In all we do, in work or play,
To grow more loving every day.

So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.
