Making Your Home a Haven Week 1: Candle is Burning
I am participating in Courtney's Women Living Well Making Your Home A Haven Challenge and this weeks challenge was to Light a candle and pray for your family members each time you pass the burning candle.
October 3 - Go buy an extra large candle and light a candle everyday in your home. I will be starting mine in the morning! But you can start yours at dinner time. Do what makes sense for your family. I will be placing mine in the kitchen – the main hub of my home. Each time the candle catches your eye, say a prayer for peace in your home.
Well I love this idea just as much as I did last year. I love candles and so I always have one burning here in my home. Well when this challenge started all I had was little jar candles so I decided to go out and purchase another large candle when I remembered that my dear sweet friend Joann had send me a few Fall items for my birthday and one of those items was a large spiced pumpkin pie candle. I had put it on the shelf for decoration because it was so pretty. But I decided to take it down and light it for this challenge so along with praying for my family I will also be praying for my friend Joann and her family as well... Thanks Joann. But I always send a pray up for each person in my home everyday but I just love the idea of saying a small prayer for each one more then 30 times a day (that is about how many times I walk pass the candle that I have lite for this challenge lol) But please remember to pray for one another and love one another. Until next time....

Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.

I too am enjoying this challenge, and love saying my prayers every time I pass my candle, such a wonderful challenge! ~April
Hi there! I am so excited to have found your blog today! What a great site you have! I LOVE IT! I am now your newest follower and I hope you will follow me, too! God bless you!
This is something that I need to work harder at: making my home a haven. I LOVE candles and am on the great hunt for a GINORMOUS candle to burn in my home. Probably going to make a stop in at Bath and Body Works this week and pick one up. God bless you and your family!
This challenge thingy sounds pretty fun :)
