Hello and happy Wednesday Morning dear friends in blog land. Over at Courtney's Blog Women Living Well we are into week two of Making Our Home a Haven. This week challenge is:
Play soft music everyday in your home. Choose worship, classical or another form of peaceful music that the family enjoys. Focus on using peaceful words and maintaining peaceful relationships. Remind your family to avoid seething anger, tattling, criticism or back talk. Role model gentleness this week.
This is an easy challenge for me because my family and I love music so we play it all the time....We love all christian worship and praise music and we especially love Bryon Cage and music by the group Selah, As well as music by Kathryn Scott and Kari Jobe... The same as last year we still love listening to the Little Women soundtrack, but this week we will also be listening to more of the relaxing sounds of Nature such as rain storms and and beautiful piano music. Here is a sample that I found on Youtube....
It is so relaxing and my main goal this week is to let the music relax my family and show each of us the gentleness that we need to continue to have for one another. I think this week we will be focusing on speaking softer and more gentle to one another when we found ourselves angry or upset. I feel as if we can be kind and gentle with people we don't know and say kind words to them then we need to do the same at home because we as parents are our children role models and it starts from home. So I will be continuing to burn my candle everyday and saying prayers over my family every time I walk pass the candle and along that I will be playing this CD to relax them as I speak softly to them. I will really be making sure that their will continue to be peace in our haven.
I also will be linking up with these sites please stop by and visit....

Beautiful music piece. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I love your music in the side bar! I am going to have to look up the Little Women soundtrack! Have you heard the Anne of Green Gables one? One of our faves!
I didn't know that such soundtracks existed! Now I am excited to hunt them down and play them to my children.
Thank you for sharing such a lovely idea! *toddles off to find beautiful music and a gentle tone of voice. *
