It's the Fall Fair Time Here in Our Town

Hello dear blogging friends. We are off to our towns Fall fair tomorrow. The kids are so excited. This is something we love to do every year as a family. It has not mattered what town we have lived in, we have always prayed that they have a Fall fair. Oh how the children are looking forward to the rides, all of the gooey sweet treats that you can only get this time of year when someone else makes it and not mom lol. They love  candied apples, cotton candy, roasted corn on the grill etc. My husband is looking forward to the tractor pulls and the livestock showings. I myself is looking forward to the pie contest (which I did enter my pumpkin pie this year) and I am looking forward too all of the live stock as well, and all of the different farm and quilt exhibits. So I am off to get everything ready to take with us. May you have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

Did you place at all? I'd love to taste your pumpkin pie! (I forget how you pronounce it with your southern drawl...punkin? Love it!)
I've always thought it would be so fun to enter a contest like that... my chocolate cake and homemade white bread especially I think. We don't do fairs, but maybe at a fall festival or something, someday.
Can't wait for your fall tour! <3 <3 <3

DeNiece - we are about 2 hours away from the landslide/mudslide. We are ok, no problems where we live, thank you and hope all is well! ;-)

Homemaking for Christ

Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.
