Schools Is Back in Session

Hello to you all. As I told you on yesterday we have had a wonderful summer and now school will be back in session. My family and I use to home school year round and then take off about three weeks and then start back. Now for about the last year or so we have been taking the summer off. Now we have decided to start school back after Labor day. So tomorrow is the big day. I have been preparing now for about two weeks. (I had already order the curriculum for this year back when the summer was starting) I now have a a 10th grader, a 9th grader, the twins are 6 graders and little Kenzie will just be helping mommy and coloring as well as learning as she goes. .  For our curriculum we will be using Christian Light which includes language arts and math. For the older two we will be trying Son light curriculum for high school. Which consist  of some world history and reading. We will continue to do our Bible studies and the girls are still learning home making skills. This year my son is learning about construction work because he will be working two days a week with our neighbor who owns his own small construction  business . So we are off to a great start.  We will go to the YMCA on Wednesdays for rec time as well as spending time outside. Michael in town will be were we go for art on Thursday. So with that been said this is just a small summary of what we will be up too for this year's schooling. I will hopefully be doing a post on each child's individual schedule and a video post of our school day . Have a wonderful and happy Labor day and may God bless you all.
