Hello everyone.. I hope everyone had a good day so far... I just want to send a reminder to let everyone know that when you are feeling alone, when you feel like know one cares, talk to Jesus he is always there. As a SAHM (Stay at Home Mom) I find it difficult sometimes to stay on task, and listen to the word of God and not of man. My bible tells me that a woman is to be the keeper of her home, Ok grant it some women have to work due to different situations. But that in no way makes you less responsible for your home. People in this world try to make SAHM feel bad because they stay home, but I thank God that I am allow to be home to cook, clean, homeschooling, etc. I love to take time out to thank God for my blessings. When I feel like I am not making a difference to my children or it seems everything on my schedule is going wrong then I look to Jesus even the more, so that he can wipe my tears and calm my fears... I open my bible to Psalms 121 and I read and pray. Here is a good idea that I use in my home, my family and I take index cards and write scriptures on them and then we put them on the backs of doors, closets, kitchen cabinets etc, so that when we open that door or cabinet the cards are there to give us inspiration. Just a reminder we are all daughters in Christ and the Lord has no respectable person he loves everyone, and he will be there when you need him most.

This was such an encouraging post. I completely relate to all you said. It is always helpful for me to remember that God has entrusted me with 3 precious children to raise and that is my true calling in life. Thanks for this great reminder!
Thank you for the post. I think that we all need reminding and encouragement that God has given us a great privilege and responsibility as wives, mothers, teachers and keepers of our homes.
This was such an encouraging and needed message today. Thanks!
I just found your blog through keepingthehome.com I love it. It is so true what you said about listening to what the world says about homemaking. Be blessed and encouraged as you bless and encourage others.
