Simply Woman Monday

FOR TODAY (September 1, 2008)...

Outside My Window... the leaves are starting to fall from the tree in the front of my house. I am looking out of the kitchen window while I am drinking my morning coffee.

I am thinking... how grateful that my family and I are feeling better and that tomorrow we will be able to start our home school lessons.

I am thankful for... God sending his son Jesus to die for all my and your sins. I am thankful for my family and all of my blogging friends.

From the kitchen... there will be a baked spaghetti casserole with garlic bread and a homemade lemon pound cake.

I am wearing... beige colored skirt with a cream blouse, and I have own my white apron that says Kiss the cook, I love this apron because I love to get all the kisses and hugs when I wear this apron.

I am creating... my home school lesson for next week, I like to do this an advance so that I can take my time and plan for the next week.

I am going... to go grocery shopping this week for some much needed items, and spend time with my hubby because he is currently on his vacation this week.

I am reading... Bible Promise for you along with Joyce Meyers Morning Devotionals, which everyone that knows me knows I do my devotionals in the wee hours of the morning at about 5:30, so I can have my personal time with God before everyone else gets up.

I am hoping... that all my brothers and sisters in Christ, even the sinner man has a blessed week and the lord keeps and takes care of everyone.

I am hearing... my christian CD playing in the background as I am typing this post.

Around the house... are all the children trying to help me get breakfast dishes finished. So that we can get ready to go off for today and have some family time for Labor Day. Also this week we have a trip scheduled with another home schooled family to the zoo.

One of my favorite things... is spending time with the Lord in the wee hours of the morning, talking and listening to his holy word. The time of the year that Fall is beginning to come, I love all of the pumpkins and squash, the town fair etc, everything is so exciting.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: We have a home school trip with another family on Friday, also the children and I would like to spend allot of family time this week because my hubby is on vacation from work. There is also a church social that we all will be attending now that we are better and the Lord has healed our bodies.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

HAPPY LABOR DAY EVERYONE AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY DURING YOUR DAY OF REST FROM WORK.......

Homemaking for Christ

Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.
