Word-Less Wednesday

"Do not forget to entertain strangers; for by so doing some people have" entertained angels" without knowing it Hebrew 13:2

Allot of people see people in need, from the children in the orphanages to the homeless lady on the street corner. Some times we as believers in Christ should stop and help someone in their time of need. OK I know that you are saying that I can not help a person in need because I can bearly help myself, my family is struggling for food too. But we were told by God that we are his choosing ones and that he will provide for us all things that are needed. So why not share that last dollar and buy a homeless person a burger and take it to them, why not help that stranded person on the side of the road... I know we do not like helping people that are beside the road because of today's danger in it, but didn't God say that he will protect us from the valley of the shadow of death. He will be with us to take care of us in the mist of evil if we just believe in him. You never know who you are helping are who's day you will be making a pleasure one, take time out and take a neighbor a casserole, stop an pick something up that someone dropped, kneel down to a child's level and say that they are special. These are the things that the Lord loves., he may just be sending you an angel to bless you in your coming and going don't miss your blessing because you what to be selfish. Read the word of God and let him bless you.

Wonderful post, and your words of wisdom were not taken lightly. We spent one night feeding homeless people under a bridge in a big city (with many other helpers) and it was absolutely amazing. These "outsiders" were just like us - only they were in rough times. Jesus loves them every bit as much. Thank you for sharing today!

This is a great post. Thank you for sharing from your heart. It is not enough to say we are serving God, nor is it enough to pray for others, we really do need to physically help others. Sometimes the only way people allow you to minister to them spiritually is if their physical need are first considered.

God bless your heart.
