FOR TODAY... October 12, 2009
Outside my window...it is about 60 degrees here today and it is drizzling rain outside, the weatherman said that it was going to be a cold and rainy week ahead...
I am thinking... about how grateful I am for such wonderful friends I have at one of my favorite blogs right now, which is Sugar pie Farmhouse: You gals rock!!!!!!!!
I am thankful for..... everything that God has bless my family and I with, food on our table, roof over our head, clothes on our backs, economy is really getting rough and I thank God for his mercy.......................
I am wearing...a black skirt with a light blue cotton blouse and my bedroom slippers.
I am remembering...... what a wonderful time my children, my hubby and I had at the skating rink for my oldest son Jaron birthday on Saturday, my hubby even got out there with me and we skated and had a blast. We also went to the county fair this past weekend and we had a ball.Outside my window...it is about 60 degrees here today and it is drizzling rain outside, the weatherman said that it was going to be a cold and rainy week ahead...

I am creating...a new home school schedule for next week, and I am working on some new projects for some of my beloved friends for Christmas. I am also helping my children finish writing their pen pals letters so we can get them mailed out this week.
I am going...to try to make it to the book store to get some books that the kids and I wanted to buy and also we will be going to the State fair this upcoming Saturday in Raleigh which is about an hour from us.
I am reading...my Bible and Becoming the Woman Who Please God....by Pat Ennis... We are reading it as a group over at Sugar Pie Farmhouse....
I am hoping...and praying that everyone reading my blog including my self have a blessed week.
On my mind...all the things that I really need to do to get the house ready for the Fall and Winter months. Excited and ready to take the family to the state fair.
From the learning rooms...home schooling the children
Noticing that...I really need to start the laundry this morning and make some bread
Pondering these words... Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. —Genesis 2:18, 21-24
From the kitchen...French toast this morning , for lunch it will be tomatoes soup and grilled cheese, for dinner I have a pot roast in the oven with all the fixings, carrots potatoes, and onions. Along with some corn and some greens.
Around the house...doing some cleaning and laundry, homeschooling, and just spending some time with the family.
One of my favorite things: cuddling up in a warm blanket with my hubby or one of the children when it is cold outside while either reading a good book or watching one of our favorite movies.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Cleaning, home schooling, cooking, and the state fair.
From my picture journal...
Jaron had a great birthday with the family. Here is a picture that they take back over the summer with him and dad on one of their father and son outings, my baby boy was sick when they went out so he is not in the picture.

My daughters birthday was on Saturday, too. Any guesses on what we did? That's right, skating.
10-10 was a great day to be born. Next year will be 10-10-10. She will be 12 though.
God bless,
