Well girls one of the things that I love to do during the day when I get a chance is to watch the series Wife Swap...I love that show it is just to funny to watch all the wives swaping families and matching with families they have nothing in common with. I would love to go on that show. I know that sounds crazy right, well I think it would be fun to learn from different wives how they run their household and in return they can learn from me how I run my household. I know that my family would miss me alot but it would be a wonderful experience. I also enjoy watching Trades Spouses on the CMT channel. the only difference between the two shows is that on wife swap you do not get paid to swith families, but on trading spouse the families get 50 thousand dollars apiece but the other families has to decide what your family does with the money hehehe that's funny. But anywhoo. its just to funny, I have seen some crazy episodes on both shows and sometimes my children and husband watch the shows with me and we just laugh at alot of the stuff, I think our favorite one was on Trading spouse with the lady that called herself the God warrior. What made that episode so funny is because she was a very devoted Christian (that was not the funny part don't get me wrong) but she through a fit because the family she switch with were not Christian and they believed in gods and goddess and mother earth which she could not stand. So she fussed and fussed, I told my hubby why didn't she just call it quits if it bothered her so much then, my hubby said because she wants that 50,000 dollars lol...... Well anywhoo at the end she was cursing and so was the hubsand and she said she did not want the money and tore the envlope up, but after the show ended , in the credits it said that she ended up taking the money, now it's that just to funny......Well ladies if you could be on a reality show what would you be on.? Hands down for me "WIFE SWAP"....

I too enjoy wife swap. I don't think they are making new episodes anymore. We used to watch the new ones on Friday evenings as a family. Sometimes it is truly hilarious, and sometimes there are some freaky people.. lol!!
Lol! I love the episodes with the god warrior in it. We can do a great impersonation of her! Heehee!
DeNiece you are such a crazy lady so doing a crazy post isn't too shocking:) I like Wife swap too, but mainly because I consider it to be so funny... Hope you are enjoying your new home.
blessings,Joann
I watch both shows and think they are hilarious! I definitely remember the "God Warrior" episodes. Also, the black atheist family was quite interesting too. He complained about anything and everything and spent most of his time fussing about how black people aren't treated right. I just wanted to reach through the screen and slap him into reality! lol My all-time favorite Wife Swap episode was the Christian family from Houston, where the mother did everything with a spirit of excellence and got switched with a lesbian couple. She tried her best to "convert" them, but it wasn't working! My husband stopped watching Wife Swap, because he got annoyed whenever somebody didn't want to cooperate with the rule changes. He said that was the point of being on the show, and if they didn't want to cooperate then why were they wasting their time?!! I still think they are funny!
I am a Wife Swap/Trading Spouses junkie too. Remember Stella on Trading Spouses? She was given Francois as a husband (he had the stinky dog and made bread all day). She was from my town and worked with my sister. She was not happy about getting a bunch of money for organic food. I would have LOVED that. Also, the God Warrior....she was on twice. I liked her better the second time. These shows always put Christians in a bad light.....or they pick the wrong Christians! Anyway, Margaret's (the God Warrior) oldest daughter was killed in a tragic car accident shortly after the second show. It was awful for her, I am sure. I always watch her episodes in a different light now, knowing the pain and suffering she must be going through.
I love Wife Swap and Trading Spouses too!!! I also saw that episode and it was hilarious! I think it would be neat to go on Wife Swap too. Hubby says NO WAY. He doesn't want a different wife for any amount of time:-)
Hello DeNiece, I am praying for you, family and new baby. Congratulations!! I have six ages 6 months to 12 years in a 3 bdrm house. There is only one girl. I have enjoyed wife swap the few times I watched it, too. :)
i too loved wife swap! i hope they bring it back :)
by the way- see my blog for a little something :)
I like wifesawap when they have a super clean organized wife, it TOTALY motivates me...LOL.
As for not getting paid, the families on wife swap get $20,00o. It would be so fun to see you on TV:)
As for reality TV, I don't think I could do it...LOL.
P.S. Oh boy ! Did I miss the mark on my spelling in the above post...LOL.
Oh, I also heard Wifeswap comes back March 26th:)
My all time favorite episode of Trading Spouses is the one with Papa & his 2 sons! Hilarious! I never get tired of watching that one! She is just too funny! Especially when she takes the teenage boys to the shoe store. Shuckaduck quack quack! LOL!!!
Love reading your blog. Congratulations on your new baby & new home.
Blessings,
Miki
I love those shows as well.
I don't think that I could do it though. I get really homesick and I'd be bawling my head off the very first day. :P

We don't have television reception (nor do we want it) but even if I did have it, as a Christian, I would have to question myself if I wanted to watch a show or shows about Trading Spouses or Wife Swap when there is a real deviance of those two titles that deals with couples swapping partners in sex relations and it's a real thing that happens in this sinful world.
I'm sure these shows are not about that but the titles along make me cringe.
I watched the God Warrior one through your you tube link and have to say she gave Christians a bad image with her cursing and then praying in God's name in the same breath. I know Christians aren't perfect but WOW! Her friends were a little too self-righteous too. There's a wrong way and a right way to witness to someone.
