Giving My Husband the Admiration He Deserves

Week 4:
This weeks Marriage challenge is: Admire Your Husband. If you are a blogger write a post all about your husband and what you admire in him and then show it to him! He will smile! If you are not a blogger, list the things you admire about your husband in the comment section and show it to him!

Showing it to him is so important. You may THINK he already knows the things you admire about him - but I'm afraid we don't tell our husbands often enough how much we do.

Wouldn't you love it if he did this for you? Luke 6:31 says "Do to others as you would have them do to you." So here's your chance to selflessly gush about your man!

My Blessing In Life

Every morning I wake up and see,
The most handsome man lying next to me.
He's the one I cherish and love,
A blessing sent from Heaven above.
I will love him as a faithful wife should,
And do everything for him I could.
I would let him know everyday,
That I love him more than words can say.
For the five children we have together,
And the love for God in each other.
It will keep our love for each other strong,
And the Lord will guide us away from all wrong.

So what do I admire about my husband? Let's see...
  • First I admire him for being a true servant and child of the most high king, and for showing our family the way to the heavenly father.
  • I admire the fact that he is an excellent cook.
  • I admire him for his dedication to continuing education and increasing his knowledge.
  • I admire him for knowing when to say "enough is enough."
  • I admire him for doing the best he can as a husband and a father for so many years.
  • I admire him for his musical talent and his willingness to work so hard to provide for us.
  • I admire him for his perseverance in spite of adversity.
  • I admire how is always  there to catch our children when they fall, wipe their noses when they're oozing, and ease their worries when they are crying in the middle of the night. The point is, he's a dad (and husband) first and everything else is next.
  • I simply admire him. and if I keep writing about what admires me about him I would have about 10 pages full.

I actually posted something on Facebook yesterday about my hubby, but didn't show or tell him. Maybe I'll show him today (smile).

I enjoyed reading your list. Have a wonderful week in Motherhood!

That was beautiful! After you get married most couples forget how they feel in love! That's a great idea to help you remember.
