has set for us..
A day that we have never seen and a day we
will never see again after the sun goes down..

God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars. ~Martin Luther .........

Just some pictures of what has been going on here this morning in the Barnes home and some happenings...and with that said have a wonderful and blessed rest of the week and remember to always keep God first and continue to love and cherish each and everyone of your family and friends and continue to be the homemaker that God has you to be........

This morning's breakfast an Egg and Cheese Casserole Thanks Katy from Country Blossom for this wonderful Recipe.....Stop in and visit this wonderful place of inspiration and share with her  love for family and for our dear Lord...

Here is Katy's Wonderful Recipe for the Egg and Cheese Casserole directly from her blog in her words:

Egg/Breakfast Casserole

6 eggs
1 # bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 c. cheddar cheese
1 tsp. ground dry mustard
2 slices bread, cubed (I just tear apart my homemade rolls and put them in)
1 c. milk
dash of salt

I crack and whisk the eggs well and then add all the other ingredients. I pour it into a greased 2 qt casserole dish and let it cook at 350* for an hour, or so. It just depends on the casserole dish you use...so you will have to check it. Also...this is great to make ahead of time and put in the fridge overnight if you would like it for breakfast!

Home made Buttermilk buiscuits I learned how to make a couple years ago

The small one on the end that unstead of using the biscuit cutter like I did with the rest I just rolled it in my hand it placed it on the end since that was what was left of the dough..Am I the only one that does that LOL...

Clothes being dry on the clothes line and being kissed and dried by God's winds....Oh I love the fresh smell of clothes hanging on the line especially sheets and blankets when you fall into bed after a long hard day and you can smell the wonderful smell of sheets that were hang on the line...

Folding up laundry fresh from the clothes line....

Well there is still must to do  so I will see you soon and as always thanks for stopping by to visit and when you get the chance please stop by and visit with Katy from Country blossom she and her lovely family will touch your heart with their words of inspiration and love for God and family....

Hi DeNeice,

I sing that song, too, on really nice mornings. I think it's from "Oklahoma" or "State Fair". :^) I remember that Folgers Commercial! That breakfast looks great. Enjoy your day with your lovely family.

God bless,

Lady Kara

Are those cotton fields outside the fence?
DeNeice, do you recall winning my give away in November. Well, that box is still sitting here with no address. I know that you were having a baby and then moving and it probably slipped your mind. So send me an email with your mailing address to samibear@gmail.com. If I don't hear from you in the next few weeks, I'll just give it to someone else.

Mama Bear,
I just sent you an email to the address you give me. I am so sorry that it has take me so long to get back to you. But to answer the question you asked me was that a cotton field behind my home, no it is not it is just the glare from the sun in the camera I think it is soybeans but I am not sure.

Oh I love how big your back yard is. I'd love that much room and being able to have a big clothes line. That's a real blessing. I wanted to Thank you so much DeNiece for commenting on my page tonight. You made me cry and smile. Sometimes I totally lose sight of that and don't go to God and just hang onto Him... especially on my bad days - which is when I need Him most. Thank you SO MUCH for the comment. I needed it more than you know, and I know God is working through you.

DeNiece, I just wanted to thank you. I am saved 34 years this past May. I had a dream during my nap earlier today (I had awoke at 3:40 this morning! Not usual for me, so I grabbed a nap about 9:30). Anyway, in my dream (I have been reading you for a few years)...you and the twins were taping a show, as it was your God-given ministry. The set was inside a church: the cameramen, grip, sound technician...all there. Hanging microphone, and you had one attached to your clothing. And you and the children, fully clothed, were snuggling on 'your bed', where you began reading the wonderful news of Jesus Christ from your bible. And then I woke up.

That's what this blog is. For me; for my childhood with a mom who didn't know how to nurture (she wasn't nurtured herself having lost her own mama at 3 and in the Great Depression at the time) - and I think, dare I say - there is a place in many hearts that read even if they don't comment - that the Holy Spirit touches through your posts in just that nurturing way that is needed.

Keep on. Do not get discouraged. You are an Encourager. An Exhorter. It is your gift. And thank you, DeNiece, for helping remind me of the great joy that He gives me and to see everything I have and do through His lens.
