Simply Woman Monday

If you would like to join in on the fun of simple woman join Peggy at her blog at http://thesimplewoman.blogspot.com

FOR TODAY (July 28, 2008)...

Outside My Window... the sun is shinning bright and to me that means our father God is smiling upon his earth.

I am thinking... how blessed I am, I have food to eat, a place to stay, cars to drive, I can worship the Lord in a free country, that many can not do.

I am thankful for... My wonderful husband, I blessed that I can be his helpmeet and the mother of his children, and that I am able to be a stay at home mother, which he does not complain at all,. I am thankful that my husband is a God fearing man and he loves the Lord. and he teaches his family about God, and how to love the father God.

From the kitchen... I am making baked oatmeal for breakfast, and also I am making 2 loaves of sourdough bread, and 3 loaves of banana nut bread for our annual church family and friends day this upcoming Saturday.

I am wearing... A blue jean skirt with a white blouse and flop flaps lol, with my baby blue apron that says "I am truly Blessed" (I made this apron along with alot more of my aprons and also my daughters aprons).

I am creating... my homeschool lesson for next week, I like to do this an advance so that I can take my time and plan for the next week.

I am going... to get everything and everyone finished , to get ready for our church's annual family and friends day and dinner on Saturday.

I am reading... my Bible (Romans Chapter 2) is what I will be reading and understanding today)

I am hoping... that all my brothers and sisters in Christ, even the sinner man has a blessed week and the lord keeps and takes care of everyone.

I am hearing... my christian CD playing in the background as I am typing this post.

Around the house... are all the children trying to help me get breakfast dishes finished and getting their things ready for today's homeschool lessons. Husband is off today so he is going to be cutting the grass.

One of my favorite things... is spending time with the Lord in the wee hours of the morning, talking and listening to his holy word.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: getting my oven cleaned out, planning the rest of our church family and friends day. I have also started on the girls new dress for the winter.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

This is my wonderful Hubby, (this is a picture from when we got married) and I love this man with all of my being, he is my friend, my soul mate, my lover, my praying partner, I could just go on and on..... We just celebrated and anniversary July 14.

Hi DeNiece,
I found you through the Simple Woman's day book and I have to echo JMJ's thought about how great it is to visit a blog full of words of praise. You share so much love with your words, I bet your husband loves to read them.
Have a great day!

Congratulations on your anniversary! Ours was June 14 (22 years).

I've been thinking about sewing some aprons. I haven't sewn anything for many years.

I enjoyed reading your Daybook. I've posted mine, too.

Homemaking for Christ

Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.
