Simply Woman Monday

If you would like to join in on the fun of simple woman join Peggy at her blog at http://thesimplewoman.blogspot.com

FOR TODAY (August 11, 2008)...

Outside My Window... the ground is wet from where the Lord has blessed us with a must needed rain storm in the wee hours of the morning.

I am thinking... how grateful I am, because our father God woke me and my family up this morning and he let us clothes our self in our right minds, he allowed us to move around freely and there was no death or sickness in our family as we slept through the night.

I am thankful for... God sending his son Jesus to die for all my and your sins. I am thankful for my family and all of my blogging friends.

From the kitchen... I have my meatloaf on for dinner today, and I am also making our bread for the week. I will be making an apple pie for dinner tonight also.

I am wearing... A black jean skirt with a cream colored shirt, I am also wearing my black and white apron with a rolling pin on it that says " God please bless the cook" I brought it at a yard sale on Saturday Morning was so excited to have ran across it in a pile of old clothes. " It was meant for me to find :)."

I am creating... my home school lesson for next week, I like to do this an advance so that I can take my time and plan for the next week.

I am going... to go grocery shopping this week for some much needed items, and help my hubby clean out the shed.

I am reading... Bible Promise for you along with Joyce Meyers Morning Devotionals, which everyone that knows me knows I do my devotionals in the wee hours of the morning at about 5:30, so I can have my personal time with God before everyone else gets up.

I am hoping... that all my brothers and sisters in Christ, even the sinner man has a blessed week and the lord keeps and takes care of everyone.

I am hearing... my christian CD playing in the background as I am typing this post.

Around the house... are all the children trying to help me get breakfast dishes finished and getting their things ready for today's home school lessons.

One of my favorite things... is spending time with the Lord in the wee hours of the morning, talking and listening to his holy word.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
getting ready for my hubby's family reunion this upcoming weekend, and also planning for the twins birthday Party next Saturday our babies will be turning 6 years old on August 23 on that day I will be posting the twins birth story and what the Lord had done for my hubby and I while I was having trouble carrying them to term.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

We are like children when we are hurt we ran to our father and this picture is showing us that God is our father and when we are down and out, hurt, or even just need a hug he is there to comfort and protect.

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK, AND COME AND VISIT ME SOON........

Your post is lovely! How sweet of you to remember to praise the Lord every morning!!! We are having meatloaf tonight, also (and I cooked it while my husband did last night's spaghetti and meatballs) so I'm halfway done! Just starting to get into menu planning (and I've been a SAHM for a decade now). About time! Nice blog, JenK from Southern Cal

Dear DeNiece, This was such a sweet way to begin the week.
I hope you have a wonderful time at your upcoming family reunion. Also, I'm looking forward to hearing the story about the birth of your twins. It sounds like you have a lot going on this month.

Homemaking for Christ

Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.
