FOR TODAY... September 14, 2009
Outside my window...I see the tree in my front yard changing colors, which is reminding me that Fall is in the air, and the weatherman said it will be in the low 80s today.....and sun is rising from beyond the trees...its going to be a lovely day.
I am thinking...How grateful I am to have such loving family and friends around me, it makes live so wonderful.
I am thankful for..... everything that God has bless my family and I with, food on our table, roof over our head, clothes on our backs, economy is really getting rough and I thank God for his mercy.......................
I am wearing...sorry I am still in my night gown with my bed room shoes on...running behind this morning lol
I am remembering...... what a wonderful time we had at the last church pininc for the year, we had a glorious time..Outside my window...I see the tree in my front yard changing colors, which is reminding me that Fall is in the air, and the weatherman said it will be in the low 80s today.....and sun is rising from beyond the trees...its going to be a lovely day.

I am creating...a new home school schedule for next week, and trying to finish up a new scarf that I am sewing....
I am going...to finish cleaning out the closet, so that I can get ready to put in the children's Fall and Winter things and take out the Summer things. I was suppose to have done it already but I had not yet, and the children new jeans that we brought about two weeks ago are still on the hangers in my closet (shame on me lol)
I am reading...my Bible and another novel by Linda Lael Miller
I am hoping...and praying that everyone reading my blog including my self have a blessed week.
On my mind...all the things that I really need to do to get the house ready for the Fall and Winter months.
From the learning rooms...home schooling the children and we are really focus on Autmun themes this week.
Noticing that...I really need to start the laundry this morning
Pondering these words... John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
From the kitchen...Baked french toast with banana slices, lunch will be chicken pastry from yesterday's leftovers.. Not really sure about dinner, the girls have a girl scouts meeting tonight and hubby works late tonight.
Around the house...doing some cleaning and laundry, homeschooling, and just spending some time with the family.
One of my favorite things: cuddling up in a warm blanket with my hubby or one of the children when it is cold outside while either reading a good book or watching one of our favorite movies.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Cleaning, ccoking meals to put in the freezer, etc..
From my picture journal...
My handsome hubby and my two sons at a Restaurant in Chapel Hill eating dinner before the alumni game September the 4th ...My hubby brought tickets for him and the boys to go see the UNC alumni game in Chapel Hill , NC where the 2009 banner was dropped because UNC won the championship, a lot of sport celebrities where there that my hubby and boys got to meet....Michael Jordan, Danny Green, Awtain Jamison..etc... My hubby and boys are huge UNC fans... GO TAR HILLS
Have a Blessed week everyone...

Thank you for blessing those who read your blog. I for one love reading your blog. You have a blessed day and a blessed week my friend :)
Hi, I found your blog from the Daybook and really enjoyed it. I just love the picture of your DH and Boys, I have 3 boys all grown and with families of their own, now. It seems we are grateful for the same things, love of family and friends and thankful for being blessed with a home and food for our tables.
Hope you have a blessed day.
Molly
I very much enjoyed your daybook! Especially one of your favorite things! That is something I absolutely LOVE doing!
Love the daybook. Maybe i'll start doing this; I enjoyed readin yours.
Thanks-

Your daybook is so inspiring; I'm glad I stopped by today! Have a blessed week.
I really enjoyed reading your daybook. The closet thing will have to be done at my house but only in my closet. I have to switch the shorts and the short sleeve shirts for the sweaters and long sleeves. It is really to warm right now. I have some 3/4 sleeves in there and long pants so I"m okay for a while. Your kitchen entry sounds yummy. I'm wondering about those chicken pastries.

Ahhh! What happened to the purse vid?? I watched half yesterday, and I had to leave, so I was going to finish it today.
How will I ever survive w/o knowing the rest of the contents of your purse?? I guess I'll manage...somehow...LOL.
(I hope you know I'm half teasing. You certainly have the right to post and remove anything you please. I enjoyed what I did see, and I thought your quilt was pretty, even if it did have a rip. )
Have a sweet day with your blessings!

I apologize, DeNiece,
I found the post I was looking for...it was an old one. I must have been in the archives w/o realizing it, probably from clicking at the bottom of the post. (You might also like...)
I watched the rest of it and also your week in the kitchen, and the first home tour. I really enjoyed them all.
Anyway, I'm sorry for the mix-up. Totally my fault.
:-)
