Simple Women Day Book

Oh what a beautiful day here in the Carolinas I have decided to join in with Peggy and compete the daybook today..If you wold like to join in with this wonderful day book happenings ...please feel free to visit Peggy at her blog, she is a wonderful hostess and would love for you guys to visit..

FOR TODAY

Outside my window... The weather is beautiful and today it is not as hot as it has been the last two weeks , it's a beautiful day. There is a wonderful breeze blowing and oh what a beautiful day.

I am thinking... How grateful I am to have such loving family and friends around me, it makes life so wonderful.
.

I am thankful... for everything that God has bless my family and I with, food on our table, roof over our head, clothes on our backs, economy is really getting rough and I thank God for his mercy.......................

From the learning rooms...We are just studying our morning devotionals as of right now, we are on a break from home school until after Labor Day...

In the kitchen...Baked oatmeal with toast, lunch will be Ham and cheese sandwiches with baked Lay's potato chips. Dinner tonight will be Baked Spaghetti (which was made about two weeks ago and placed in the freezer so now all it needs is to be defrosted) with a green salad and garlic bread.

I am wearing...a black skirt with a white  blouse and some black flip flops (ok you know it is to hot here in the Carolinas to be wearing anything but flip flops lol)

I am creating... I am still working on finishing up my children home school curriculum for this year which we were to  start back on the 25th of August but my hubby and I decided to start back the Tuesday after Labor day.

I am going... church this afternoon we have choir rehearsal at 5 which usually last to about 6:30. Then it is back home to take the kids to play in the community pool until it gets dark.

I am wondering...what to get the twins for their birthday which is tomorrow.

I am reading...my Bible and another novel by Thomas Kinkade " The wedding Promise from the "Angel Inn Series"(Still reading the same from last week)

I am hoping... and praying that everyone reading my blog including my self have a blessed week

I am looking forward to... the  Fall, I like summer and I am not trying to rush God's wonderful weather but Fall is my favorite time of the year and now that August is here September will come faster then we know it lol.

I am hearing...my music from my blog as I type this. I love the upbeat of the music...I am ready to clean the house and light a candle and just go at it...

Around the house...doing some cleaning and laundry, and just spending some time with the family..

I am pondering...And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” – Phil 4:19 I love that God is always there with you and I and that he knows what we need and when we need it. Nothing should be in our time but is the Lord's timing that way everything will work out for our good.
especially for those that love the Lord.

One of my favorite things... spending time in God's word and taking time to hear him speak into my spirit.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Celebrating the birth of my twins, they are turning 9 years old on August 23, so now I have a 14 year old, a 13 year old , two 9 year old and my littlest one who just turned 1 in June. Where is the time going my babies are growing up lol.  Cleaning, finish cooking meals to put in the freezer, etc..

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

I can not wait for the trees to start looking like this....I found this picture on the Internet along time ago and have always thought that it was beautiful....
