FOR TODAY
Outside my window... The weather is beautiful and today it is not as hot as it has been the last two weeks , it's a beautiful day.
I am thinking... How grateful I am to have such loving family and friends around me, it makes life so wonderful.
.
I am thankful... for everything that God has bless my family and I with, food on our table, roof over our head, clothes on our backs, economy is really getting rough and I thank God for his mercy.......................
From the learning rooms...We are just studying our morning devotionals as of right now, we are on a break from home school until late August...
In the kitchen...Baked french toast with banana slices, lunch will be Shepard's pie which was yesterday's leftovers..Dinner tonight will be Bar-Que chicken with Thyme, squash casserole, and a fresh garden salad with the works. I also made a strawberry cheesecake for dessert this morning and I put it in the refig so it will be ready for dinner. I brought some strawberries on sale at the store on Saturday and boy they have come in handy lol
I am wearing...a brown skirt with a white blouse and some brown flip flops (ok you know it is to hot here in the Carolinas to be wearing anything but flip flops lol)
I am creating... I am still working on finishing up my children home school curriculum for this year which we will start back on the 25th of August. I had wrote a post early last month in July about maybe letting the children go to public school but my hubby and I talked and prayed about it and we both were put at peace by God that we were doing the right thing homeschooling and so thus we will continue to do so and the children are just fine with it, but I will be trying a new curriculum this year but I will write a post about that at another time in another post. (But for all of my followers that was wondering what we had decided to do...We Will Continue Home Schooling)
I am going... to the dentist today to have the children teeth clean, and then I will be taking them to the splash park and to get ice cream from our favorite creamery" Cold Stones" when hubby gets home and after dinner
I am wondering...if I can sneak in a nap while Kenzie is napping and the older children are reading and watching the TV
I am reading...my Bible and another novel by Thomas Kinkade " The wedding Promise from the "Angel Inn Series"
I am hoping... and praying that everyone reading my blog including my self have a blessed week and that McKenzie will take a nice long nap lol.
I am looking forward to... the Fall, I like summer and I am not trying to rush God's wonderful weather but Fall is my favorite time of the year and now that August is here September will come faster then we know it lol.
I am hearing...Superbook the christian cartoon on the TCT channel the children are watching it .
Around the house...doing some cleaning and laundry, and just spending some time with the family..
I am pondering... John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. What a mighty God we serve, we could not ask for no better gift for our sins, Jesus died so that we may have live and have it to the fullness even through we have fell short of God's glory...
One of my favorite things... spending time in God's word and taking time to hear him speak into my spirit.
A few plans for the rest of the week: get 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies ready for our church's family and friends day picnic on Saturday. Cleaning, finish cooking meals to put in the freezer, etc..
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
Isn't this a lovely picture.... See how Jesus stretch out his arms and told us that he loves us this much that he give his own life for ours....

Homemaking for Christ
Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.

We did our first day of the new home school year today. It went really well, and the children really enjoyed it. You can see my home school curriculum at the bottom of the left side bar on my blog.
I can't wait to hear/read about the new curriculum ya'll are trying out this year, and I'm so glad you guys decided to keep home schooling. :-)
