A Simple Woman's Day Book

If you wold like to join in with this wonderful day book happenings ...please feel free to visit Peggy at her blog, she is a wonderful hostess and would love for you guys to visit..

For Today... Monday August 31, 2009

Outside my window... It is pouring down raining and the weather man says that it is only going to get up in the 70s today.

I am thinking... I have a lot to get done this week , and I am thankful for the Lord waking me up this morning to see another day.

From the learning rooms... We have begun a new school year, so far everything is going good, I pray and hope it stays that way.

I am thankful for... my wonderful husband and children.. they are the best family anyone could ask for.

From the kitchen... for breakfast this morning is pancakes, with real maple syrup. For lunch it will be mac-n-cheese Dinner will be a Pot Roast with the works, carrots, and potatoes, and I will be fixing a fruit salad for dessert tonight.

I am wearing... a blue and white dress with no apron today ladies (can you believe it :P ) I still have on my bedroom slippers.

I am reading...We are Still reading Little House in the Big Woods for the millionth time to the children along with Oliver Twist, and I am reading Nora Roberts Blood Brothers, along with my Bible everyday.

I am hoping... to get the house finished with my Fall decorations that I started on Saturday putting up. I am also hoping to be able to get a home video done of all my Fall decorations after I am done.

I am creating... a new schedule for this week

I am praying... everyone, and for a blessed week this week

Around the house... I will finish decorating for Fall, and getting some much need deep cleaning of the children closet to get ready in about a month (October) to put in their jeans and sweaters and put away their summer gear.

One of my favorite things... just setting together as a family at night listening to my husband read from the Bible, while the children sit at our feet, and just listen while hugging our legs, and praying that they decide to listen and not fuss about who's sitting to close to who : )

A few plans for the rest of the week... finishing next weeks schedule, deep cleaning the children closets getting everything organized, proof reading my hubby's essay that he had to write for his English 111 class and just enjoying my family.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Sorry about the blur of the pictures....I had to use my camera on my cell phone because I need to go out and buy batteries for my camera. This is pictures of my kitchen table and my living room tables that I have already decorated for Fall, I hope to be able to do a video of my home this week to show all of my Fall decorations.

Have a Blessed Week Everyone........And may God grant everyone a safe and bless day....

I love the table decorations! I'm very envious of the weather you're having...I love the rain! Where I live it's going to be in the hundreds today. I look forward to the videos so I can live vicariously through you where it is actually looking like "fall." :)

Hi DeNiece~I always stay in my fluffy baby blue slippers when I am in the house, too. Everytime I forget to wear my apron I stain my clothes~so I have a couple hung up just in case. Thank you for sharing your day with us. It was cool and dry where I am. I guess you all must have needed the rain if it was pouring. God bless, Rose

Homemaking for Christ

Hello and welcome to Organized Homemaking for Christ...... So just sit yourself down and have a cup of tea and some cookies and lets talk about the goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ., lets talk about the goodness of God and how he has brought us this far and how we as believers in Christ will continue to follow his words pertaining to being homemakers, helpmeets to our husbands, and mothers to our children.
